Meet the Artist

One of the wonderful features of the One of a Kind Show is that each artist represented will be in attendence at the show. Here are just a few of the aritsts you'll meet at the show.

Underground Culture

Born and bred New Yorker Rochelle Weber takes her artistic inspirations from her roots. The richness and diversity of New York City life is reflected in her jewel-like luminous paintings of famous subway stops.

A-Glazing Lady

Eve Behar’s work is wheel thrown, decorated with clay slip and glazed using a variety of methods and colors. Her colorful motifs and images are often drawn from her love of mid-20th century modern art and design.

Color-Forms

Concern for color and light have followed Elise Winters through every phase of her artistic career. An innovator in polymer she creates luminous surfaces, subtle sophisticated color and elegant forms in one-of-a-kind art jewelry and sculpture.

Knit One, Embellish Two

Elyse Allen studied Sculpture and Textile Design at the Rhode Island School of Design and has taught weaving and experimental machine knitting at a number of prominent design and craft institutions. Her current work focuses on embellished knit textiles in diverse forms, from fingerless gloves, to elaborate bird masks, to a line of jewelry that includes Soft Bling chain necklaces.

All That Glitters

Jeanmarie Petro and Barbara Tinger were working as bartenders when the underside of a bottle cap led to inspiration and the idea behind Weener Ware was born. Their work is based on collage, a love of vintage and a weakness for anything shiny.

Artist-Tree

Artist Lenore Lampi is continually fascinated with the sculptural aspect of birch trees. Her wonderfully whimsical “Tree Skin” series is wheel thrown, incised and altered by adding, subtracting and carving.
